Job Description:
Bottling Line Associate Bottling Line Associates are responsible for the duties related to bottling and packaging operations.
As the bottle and associated packaging represent the face of Koloa Rum Company, the Bottling Team is tasked with applying all Koloa Rum standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality Koloa Rum products are produced.
A Bottling Line Associate is responsible for arriving to work on time and allowing shift work to begin at the scheduled start time.
Bottling team members work both as a team and independently in preparing the bottling line and all necessary/appropriate equipment, supplies, and related items correctly, to best ensure optimal production process & output throughout each bottling shift.
Also, Bottling Team Members are responsible for proper and thorough cleaning of the bottling line, its components, and team member work areas (per SOP) once bottling session is completed (all product has been bottled, packed, and recorded).
Typical responsibilities of the job include:
Ensure line, related equipment, and input supplies are properly set and available for use during the bottling session.
Accurately and safely conduct bottling session, fulfilling duties at a variety of workstations along the bottling line.
Complete understanding of bottling line processes and duties.
Consistent adherence to quality control & safety standards.
Clean bottling line and associated area/ items, execute proper shut-down of equipment/ machinery, and return unused input supplies to appropriate storage areas (per SOP).
Cross-train to learn all bottling line station duties and associated equipment/ machinery.
Follow all SOPs regarding bottling operations.
Maintain high-level of quality control at all times & at each workstation/ during all tasks.
Provide clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing, to all co-workers and managers.
Communicate any issues with equipment or processes to Team Lead/Maintenance Technicians with proper urgency.
Practice all safety procedures and protocols, per guidelines/documentation instructions and established SOPs.
Always promote a safe & positive work environment.
Frequent problem solving, both independently and with co-workers/ in a team environment.
